IPTV UK FAQ: Getting Started
What is IPTV?
IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) means watching live TV and on-demand content through your broadband connection instead of an aerial, dish or cable. You watch in an app on a Smart TV, streaming stick, box, phone or computer.
How does Best4K IPTV UK work?
You choose a plan or a free trial, message us on WhatsApp, and we send you a login. You add that login to an IPTV player app on your device and get instant access to 30,000+ live channels and 165,000+ films and series.
What do I need to get started?
A broadband connection (about 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K), a compatible device such as a Firestick, Android TV, Smart TV, phone or computer, and an IPTV player app. That is all.
Which IPTV is best in the UK?
Look for UK or London servers, high uptime, real 4K, a genuine free trial and fast human support. Best4K offers all of these, and the trial lets you judge the service on your own TV before you pay.
Is IPTV any good in the UK?
Yes, when the provider is reliable. Good IPTV can match traditional pay TV for picture quality and beat it on price and choice, especially on a fast fibre line. Server location, uptime, 4K quality and support make the difference, which is why our servers are in London and our team is available 24/7.
Do I need a special box or satellite dish?
No. You do not need a dish, aerial or engineer visit. Most homes already have a suitable device, such as a Smart TV, Firestick, Android box, Apple TV, phone or laptop. You only need broadband and an IPTV player app.
Free trial
Is there a free IPTV trial?
Yes. Our free trial includes every channel and the whole VOD library and needs no card. Message us on WhatsApp with your device to start. See the IPTV UK free trial page for details.
How long does the free trial last?
Up to 24 hours. It can be shorter during peak server load or when the daily free trial limit is reached.
Which devices can I use for the trial?
Any device our paid plans support, from Firestick and Android TV to Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone, MAG, Formuler and Enigma2. Tell us your device when you ask for a trial and we send the right setup guide.
Can I get a 3 day or 72 hour trial?
Our trial lasts up to 24 hours, which is enough to test live sport, 4K quality, the TV guide and the film library. If you want more time, the 1-month plan is £15 with no contract.
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. We never ask for card or payment details for a trial, so you cannot be charged by surprise.
What happens when my trial ends?
The trial login stops working automatically. If you want to continue, pick a plan on WhatsApp and we activate it straight away.
IPTV UK FAQ: Plans and Payment
How much is IPTV per month in the UK?
Our monthly plan is £15. Longer plans cost less per month: about £8.33 on 3 months, £6.67 on 6 months and £5.00 on 12 months for one device.
How much is an IPTV subscription per year?
£60 for 12 months on one device, or £89 for 12 months on two devices with two separate logins. Compare everything on IPTV subscription UK.
Is there a contract?
No. You pay once for the plan length you choose. Nothing renews automatically.
What is the best and cheapest IPTV plan?
The 12-month plan gives the best value at £60, which works out at about £5 a month for one device. If you want to watch on two screens, the 12-month 2-device plan is £89, about £7.42 a month, with two separate logins.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Message us before or when your plan ends and we can move you to a longer plan, or from one device to two, so you only pay for what you need.
Which currencies do you accept?
Prices are shown in £ GBP for UK customers, but we also accept USD ($), EUR (€) and most international currencies.
How do I renew?
Message us on WhatsApp before or when your plan ends and we renew it in minutes.
Devices and apps
Which devices are supported?
Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, Fire TV Cube, Android TV and Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Android boxes, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows, Mac, MAG, Formuler and Enigma2.
Which IPTV apps can I use?
Any good player, including IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, IBO Player Pro, XCIPTV, OTT Navigator, Smart IPTV, SET IPTV, iMPlayer, GSE Smart IPTV, VLC and Kodi. Step-by-step instructions are in our IPTV setup guide UK.
Can I use IPTV on a Firestick?
Yes, on Fire OS models such as the Fire TV Stick 4K, 4K Max and Fire TV Cube. Newer Vega OS models like the Fire TV Stick 4K Select only install Amazon Appstore apps. Read our IPTV Firestick UK guide.
How many devices can I use with one login?
One login works on one device only. For two devices, choose a 2-device plan, which gives you two separate logins.
Do IPTV apps cost money?
Some are free and some charge an activation fee or premium upgrade to their developer. That fee goes to the app maker, not to us, and activating your chosen app is your responsibility.
Does IPTV work on Samsung and LG Smart TVs?
Yes. Install a player such as IBO Player Pro, SET IPTV or Smart IPTV from your TV's app store, note the MAC address it shows and send it to us or add your playlist on the app's website. Our setup guide covers both Tizen and webOS step by step.
Can I watch on my phone when I am away from home?
Yes, with an IPTV app on your phone or tablet, on Wi-Fi or mobile data. Remember that one login works on one device, so if you also watch on your TV, a 2-device plan with two separate logins is the right choice.

Yes. A full EPG is included, plus 7-day catch-up and time-shift on supported channels and apps.
How often are new films and series added?

Do you have channels in other languages?
Yes. Alongside UK channels, our international groups include channels in many languages from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, so the whole household can watch in their own language.
Streaming quality
Is everything in 4K?
Every live channel has a 4K version, plus FHD, HEVC and HD versions in the same playlist. Learn more on 4K IPTV UK.
What internet speed do I need?
About 25 Mbps for 4K, 15 Mbps for Full HD and 10 Mbps for HD. HEVC versions use up to 50% less data.
Where are your servers?
Our servers are in London, close to UK homes, with a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Do I need a VPN?
Most UK customers do not. Your login includes a built-in VPN on supported apps. If your internet provider blocks streams, a VPN on your device fixes it.
What is HEVC?
HEVC, also called H.265, is a modern video format that gives the same picture quality with up to 50% less data. Most new devices support it, and it is a great way to watch 4K on a slower connection.
Why does 4K look blurry on my TV?
Check that you picked the 4K version of the channel, that your TV and device both support 4K, and that your connection gives at least 25 Mbps. On an HD-only device such as the basic Firestick, 4K channels will play at HD quality.
Troubleshooting
Why is my stream buffering?
Usually it is the connection to your device. Use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, close other downloads, clear your app cache and try the HEVC or FHD version of the channel.
My login is not working. What should I do?
Check the server, username and password carefully, as they are case-sensitive. If it still fails, message us and we will check your line.
What if the server goes down?
Short maintenance is rare and usually fixed within 20 to 40 minutes, and at most within 24 to 48 hours. Our team keeps you updated on WhatsApp.
The TV guide is empty. How do I fix it?
Open your app settings and refresh or update the EPG, then wait a few minutes for it to load. Some apps need a separate EPG link, which our team can send you on WhatsApp.
A channel I watch has stopped working. What now?
Try the backup or alternative version of the channel in the same group first, for example the FHD or HEVC version. If it still does not work, message us with the channel name and we will check it.
Refunds and support
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 7-day money back guarantee if the service does not work on your device at all, with or without a VPN. Refunds are not given for ISP blocking, change of mind, refusing app activation or server maintenance. Read the full refund policy.
How do I contact support?
Message us on WhatsApp or email [email protected]. Real people reply 24/7, usually within minutes. You can also use our contact page.
How fast is activation?
Instant. Your login arrives on WhatsApp within minutes of your order being confirmed, day or night.

Can I become an IPTV reseller?
Yes. Our reseller panel uses credits, where 1 credit equals 1 month for one customer. Packages start with Panel Activation at 50 credits for £100. See IPTV reseller UK.
Is IPTV legal in the UK?
IPTV technology is legal and is used by many licensed services. Whether a specific service is legal depends on whether it holds the rights to the content it streams. Read our guide: is IPTV legal in the UK.
